Hog Roast Southfleet would like to wish all of you a very merry Christmas, or should we say, merry pigmas! Too much? Okay, maybe you’re right, but now that Christmas is here once more, we can barely contain our excitement for the festivities that lie ahead.
Since late November, we have been inundated with phone calls and emails from corporate clients looking for us to handle their annual holiday parties, as well as bookings from private customers who wish to take a step back from cooking this year and instead let our team run the whole show. But we just can’t believe how quickly the time has flown in this year, and that already we’re making preparations for our Christmas Day serves!
Fortunately, there’s been enough of Hog Roast Southfleet to go around to cover almost every occasion that comes our way, and our team of hog roast enthusiasts are elated to be included in all the upcoming celebrations.
Of course, our catering manager, Jason has been particularly busy this festive season, and since his services are highly sought-after, he is set to work at a mixture of different events which are spread out across the rest of the month.
But most recently, Jason’s talents were required at a school Christmas party, where, as a treat for the children the PTA had organised a special Hog Roast Southfleet Gourmet Delivery of our traditional festive menu.
So, on Thursday, Jason, aided by the rest of the Hog Roast Southfleet team, spent the early hours of the morning creating a luxurious feast of slow roasted, free-range turkey with cranberry sauce, sage and onion stuffing, pigs in blankets, Yorkshire puddings and cauliflower cheese with beautifully seasoned roast potatoes and rich homemade gravy. And, rounding off the meal, the team also included our tasty dessert waffles with whipped cream and white chocolate chips.
The food was delivered perfectly on time, and Jason and the team adhered to social distancing measures throughout the exchange. Since then, we’ve received an update from the organisers about how much the children loved the food our catering crew served, and that they hope we’ll return next year!
