Lydia is currently 4 months pregnant and recently hosted a baby shower, with the addition of Hog Roast Greenhithe catering. The event took place at her local village hall, which had been decorated with flowers, balloons, and lots of pretty fairy lights. She had invited 30 of her friends and family to attend the event, which included music, gift-giving, and lots of fun party games to get everyone involved. Hog Roast Greenhithe was asked to provide a delicious menu for the occasion, with a simple main course followed by lots of tasty dessert options. This was not a problem, and our team was more than happy to get involved!
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Greenhithe arrived in the morning to prepare for the 2:00 pm lunchtime. We began by roasting the hog, which was served with sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and fresh bread rolls. Vegetarian guests enjoyed BBQ pulled jackfruit, which is a tasty meat alternative. As well as the main dishes, we also served homemade chips and a selection of seasonal salad dishes.
Following the main course, the guests enjoyed a variety of delicious desserts. The desserts included profiteroles, sticky toffee pudding, fresh fruit salad, and homemade cheesecake. Each dish was presented beautifully with berries and English cream, to create a delicious final course! Our catering was a great addition to the event and went down a treat with the guests.
