Since Mitch and his friends were at university, they have taken turns to host an early Christmas celebration for the group to enjoy, complete with a delicious festive meal, gift exchanges, and lots of themed entertainment. This year, Mitch is hosting the event at his home and he has hired Hog Roast Darenth to cater for the occasion. He has never been much of a cook and wanted to make sure that everyone got the perfect Christmas meal, while also allowing himself to make the most of the party, knowing that the catering is all in hand. The Hog Roast Darenth team was happy to get involved and we agreed that our festive buffet menu would be the perfect option for this Christmas party!
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Darenth team arrived at Mitch’s home in the morning, giving us plenty of time to cook our menu on-site before the 7:00pm serving time. We began our prep by whole-roasting the turkeys, which were packed full of natural juices and flavour. Once ready, the t
urkey was expertly carved and served alongside all of the traditional Christmas trimmings. For the sides, the guests enjoyed roasted baby potatoes, glazed carrots and sprouts, pigs in blankets, and rich gravy. Altogether, this created the perfect menu for the occasion and the buffet serving style allowed everyone to enjoy as much as they wanted.
