We have just come off the first bank holiday weekend, and call us greedy, but we are well ready for another already! But at Hog Roast Stone we have an extra good reason for being excited about the bank holiday weekends already. As an event caterer these extra special weekends can be some of the biggest on our calendars. With the combination of spring sun and customers off work for an extra day or two, event requests come flooding in – and they are always a joy to cater for as everyone is in a far better mood and ready just to enjoy the weekend with some good dining, good company, and good celebration.
The Easter weekend was excellent for us at Hog Roast Stone. Four days of back to back events. The weather was a little all over the place, especially on Easter Sunday itself, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the weekend to its fullest. Hog roasts, traditional Easter lamb roasts, even the first arrivals of our summery gourmet barbecue ranges – even if some of them were served in a confusing mix of snow, sleet, and sun. After such a fun and successful weekend we are eagerly looking to the next bank holiday weekend already.
Fortunately, after the extended wait for the first one through January, February, and March, the next few bank holidays come thick and fast through the rest of Spring. In less than a month we’ll have the May Day weekend, then we’ll be back once more at the end of May to say hello to the official start of summer.
So, then, at Hog Roast Stone we would recommend getting your orders in for the coming bank holidays today. Our catering is here to serve for them all, from now to the end of the year. For the early May bank holiday weekend, it will be Hog Roast Stone signature roasts, fresh platters, grazing tables, and gourmet barbecues galore once more. For the late Spring Bank Holiday at the end of May, well, we’ll just be doing it all again in exactly the same style once more. After all, by then the sun and summer will truly be here – and that is well worth a roast or two…or even three!
