In terms of delicious homemade food made from fresh, quality ingredients, Hog Roast Southfleet catering comes highly recommended by so many of our long-term customers, who return to us again and again. Nevertheless, we also know that these return visits are partly because of our excellent service and flexibility, as well as the fact that we offer so much choice and variety, whatever special occasion you’re planning.
While we have various menus that you can choose from, you’re also welcome to mix and match items between menus so that you can create your own and we can always help you with that if needed. Regardless of the party or event that you’ll be hosting, our expert chefs and catering assistants are highly experienced in preparing, cooking and serving tasty dishes and that includes much more than you might imagine.
While Hog Roast Southfleet has our famous traditional centrepiece hog roasts as part of our name, we also spit-roast meat, serve specialty menus like our Southern Slow Roast and Loaded Fries and can help you to devise multi-course menus that feature canapés, starters, sides and desserts. We can also provide for any guests with dietary requirements; just let us know your needs when you book our services and we’ll work it out together with you.
For a private party that we catered on Thursday, Hog Roast Southfleet cooked a sumptuous hog roast in order to make pigs in buns for most of the guests, including someone following a gluten-free diet. Our new customer had asked us for an alternative dish to be made but when we told her that our pigs in buns can easily be made gluten-free, just by us taking along suitable bread rolls or wraps, she was delighted.
On the day, our chef prepared the meat with plenty of water and salt (the former to keep the meat moist during the cooking process and the latter to turn the skin into amazing crackling). While sizzling away for five hours, we prepared our homemade stuffing and apple sauce and sliced the bread rolls, arranged the condiments, and then waited for all the guests to arrive to be treated to a feast.
