Hog Roast Bexley Specialising In Perfect Wedding Feasts

Hog Roast Bexley recently catered an informal wedding reception where the happy couple wanted a hog roast centrepiece to be the main feature of the day, but they also asked if we could provide additional and alternative dishes. Over many years, we’ve perfected our extensive menus to include both of these, so you’ll find all kinds of possibilities available for you and your guests, regardless of the type of party or event you’re organising. With options to cater for various diets, you can ensure that everyone invited gets to eat delicious, fresh food on the day, and with meaty alternatives, different personal tastes can easily be covered too. Plus if you fancy any extra dishes served, like welcome canapés, starters, sides and desserts, we have lots to choose from.

Hog Roast BexleyWhen the bride and groom originally booked with Hog Roast Bexley, they knew that a hog roast made into our amazing pigs in buns would be the perfect main but they also needed a gluten-free option, a vegetarian option and some side dishes too. When we told them that we can easily make our pigs in buns gluten-free by taking along suitable bread rolls and wraps for those guests, as all the other ingredients are already suitable, they were overjoyed. In terms of a vegetarian option, they decided on our very popular veggie skewers, which are grilled chunks of halloumi, tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, courgette and red onion, served with pitta bread and our Tzatziki dip, and with sides of spicy sweet potato wedges and homemade coleslaw and mac and cheese, everyone would have plenty to eat on the day.

It came round to the special day on Saturday and our dedicated Hog Roast Bexley team arrived several hours before service to set up our equipment and get cracking on preparing and cooking the hog. A long time later, we had succulent, tender meat and crispy crackling ready to fill rolls and wraps together with our apple sauce and stuffing combo, as well as a pile of yummy veggie skewers and three lovely sides, and once the guests had all arrived, it was time to serve.
