One of the greatest aspects of this line of work is the variety of the occasions we get to attend, and the intriguing people that we meet. Despite only being with our guests for a day, we are privileged to get to play a part in some of the most memorable moments of their lives- an unforgettable snippet of their story.
Over the years, we have catered for birthdays, weddings, cooperate events and wild festivals. But a choir? That is a first for Hog Roast Dulwich. Such a new and engaging opportunity was music to our ears!
Our team recently had the pleasure of catering for a talented chapel choir, accompanied by their supportive parents and other students, and the teachers that guided and nurtured their musical talents. With 150 voices to feed, this occasion came with its own unique set of needs. That’s why, at Hog Roast Dulwich, we have such a wide menu selection – designed to satisfy each and every person’s no matter the requirement.
With a succulent slow roasted pig carved and served as tender pulled pork alongside an equally as delicious vegetarian alternative of grilled vegetable and haloumi skewers. The delicious fillings of course came with the option whole wheat or gluten free bread roll – ensuring every performer and supporter was able to enjoy something delicious.
As er served from midday to the afternoon, we were able to listen the incredibly talented voices that echoed throughout the chapel. The performance was nothing short of magical. Each singer should be incredibly proud of themselves for putting on such a show which not just us, but every single guest in attendance.
After the breathtaking production came to a close, the choir and audience was rewarded with a warm, hearty meal served with genuine delight from us at Hog Roast Dulwich who has truly never seen anything quite like that.
With a new incredible experience under out belt, Hog Roast Dulwich has to wave goodbye to the gifted choir. We hope to get an opportunity to cater and enjoy the talents of these brilliant performers again some day!
