Who doesn’t love a bit of the famous Grand National? Whether you are a usual better or not when the Grand National comes around we can’t all bet help but sticking a few quid on a horse or two. And with the prestige of the day it often isn’t all about winning but the fun of the entire occasion, and then fun comes tenfold when you have a hog pork roast roll and a Hog Roast South Darenth feast there for you for every Parade, Jump and Gallop of the action.

To highlight just one such event, Hog Roast South Darenth were invited to our long-time customer Calvin’s local bowls club where the members were enjoying a morning bowls tournament and then were capping off the rest of the day with a few drinks and Grand National Festivities. Hog Roast South Darenth arrived in the morning as the tournament was on the go, and though the main event wasn’t going to be until later we whipped up some sausages and burgers for a quick lunch for members to come back to after their games.
In the meantime we prepared a whole hog roast buffet feast for the Grand National itself so that members could dine at their leisure while waiting for the action to begin and unfold. Everyone of course wins with a hot pork roast and some nice greenery and perfect roast potatoes on their plate, but the bowls club also housed a couple of fortunate big winners whose bets came in big for the race! Congrats to them, and when you win big there isn’t much better than another helping of a hog roast buffet to toast to your fortunes!
