A Beautiful Wedding Feast with Hog Roast Barnes Cray

At Hog Roast Barnes Cray, we love being part of life’s most special celebrations, and few occasions are as magical as a wedding day. Recently, our team had the pleasure of catering a stunning countryside wedding, providing a delicious slow-roasted hog, crisp crackling, vibrant salads, and elegant antipasti platters for the happy couple and their guests. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and, of course, incredible food.

Our team arrived early to begin the slow roasting process, ensuring the hog was cooked to perfection by the time guests were ready to eat. The aroma of sizzling pork filled the air as the golden crackling began to form, the unmistakable sign of a Hog Roast Barnes Cray feast in full swing! Slow roasting over several hours allows the meat to become tender and juicy while the outside develops that irresistible crunch everyone looks forward to.

To accompany the main attraction, we prepared a colourful selection of fresh salads, including crisp mixed leaves, creamy coleslaw, and a refreshing tomato and mozzarella salad, perfect for a summer wedding spread. Alongside the hog roast, we served beautiful antipasti platters brimming with cured meats, cheeses, and olives. These platters offered guests a lovely variety of textures and flavours, and they looked stunning as part of the wedding setup.

As the evening went on, guests gathered around the serving area to watch the hog being carved, a true centrepiece moment. The crackling was perfectly golden and crunchy, while the slow-cooked pork melted in the mouth. Served with fresh rolls, salads, and our signature apple sauce, every plate was a celebration of flavour.
