Getting Over Blue Monday with Hog Roast Newbarn!

Hog Roast NewbarnIt may have begun as a marketing term, but Blue Monday does very much feel real for a lot of us each year. Typically falling on the third Monday of January, Blue Monday comes around when a lot of us are at a low ebb. A lot of that comes down to finances; Blue Monday comes furthest away from our last payday during a very busy and expensive Christmas and New Year period, and is still yet at least another full week away from our next payday. That means a lot of us find ourselves stretching.

Blue Monday also come about because of the miserable weather that January tends to bring. While the days may finally be beginning to brighten up from here, Blue Monday means we have suffered through at least three weeks of dark, cold, and dreary January weather.

But this year there was less to fear of Blue Monday, because Hog Roast Newbarn were here to get many of our customers and corporate clients through it! When you need a pick me up, what better a way than with some comforting dining. And you don’t get much more comforting than a roast, especially one cooked and served by someone else, and in excellent and unique style to boot, too!

Hog Roast NewbarnThis Blue Monday your Hog Roast Newbarn team were fortunate enough to be out with a couple corporate clients that perhaps also feel the squeeze of the day. January often sees less foot traffic for a lot of shops and businesses, so even our local clients need their good boost of Hog Roast Newbarn goodness as well. We had the pleasure of joining some of our longtime clients as they took Blue Monday as an opportunity to rally their teams on a traditionally quiet business day and get everyone re-energised for the remainder of the month and into the more exciting business dealings of February. Serving up fresh hog roasts and accompanying dishes, our Blue Monday very much turned into a delicious, comforting, warm and welcoming Monday instead! Because with Hog Roast Newbarn, there’s never much to feel blue about!
