Returning to school after the summer break is not something that any student looks forward to, so it is important to make the transition as smooth as possible. One way to do this is by providing incentives to make the school day more appealing, such as serving a luxury lunch to students. Natasha works at a boarding school as part of the pupil support team, which means that she is always very busy at the start of the school year with making sure that the new students settle in well and receive all of the correct support. As part of the welcoming process, the school hosts a variety of events intended to help the children settle in. This year, one of the events was enjoying a delicious meal together on one of the sports fields, with the catering provided by Hog Roast Southfleet. After looking through our menus, Natasha decided that our BBQ menu would be ideal for making the most of the last sunshine of the summer, and it has plenty of dishes for all 340 guests to enjoy.
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Southfleet team will arrive at the school in the morning and set up our catering station outside. For the menu, we will provide a broad selection of main dishes, including succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, juicy British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marin
ated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. These dishes will be served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also available. For the side dishes, the students can enjoy homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, a green leaf salad, and tasty mac and cheese. This is the perfect menu for enjoying in the sunshine and we hope that it will go down a treat with the guests!
