Yes, the summer months might be over, but that doesn’t mean you have to say goodbye to outdoor dining just yet. Autumn is just as good, if not better, for hosting open-air get-togethers – especially if Hog Roast Snodland has anything to do with it!
And with the seasons changing before our eyes, our team have had a lot of requests lately from a mix of new and existing customers, who have been looking to make the most of the milder weather before things undoubtedly become a whole lot wetter and windier as the weeks progress. Among these requests emerged a booking from Rebecca.
Having been unable to get away anywhere nice this year, the client had come up with an innovative way of celebrating her outdoor-obsessed daughter, Erika’s 13th birthday. Instead of taking her on holiday, she planned to bring the holiday to Erika! This involved creating the ultimate glamping experience in the family’s back garden for the birthday girl and her best friend group.
When it came to decorations, Rebecca was a pro. She had rented out a decent-sized canvas bell tent for all 15 girls to sleep in and had filled it with cosy throws and plush pillows, which spilled out onto the entryway. There was even a projector screen for watching movies! Rebecca had also decorated the awnings and much of the garden with fairy lights, and outside, she had set up a cosy seating area around the fire pit for the girls to cook delicious smores.
After going all out on setting the scene, though, Rebecca was at a bit of a loss as to what to cook for the girls. So, in the end, she instead decided to let our Hog Roast Snodland professionals handle that part, and boy was she glad she did! The menu chosen was our stunning Alfresco Menu, which combines a traditional hog roast with side salads, an antipasti platter and dessert options.
The birthday girl was so happy with her party, which suited her personality down to the ground, and as for the food Hog Roast Snodland served? Well, let’s just say it was clean plates all round!
