A local theatre company in Dartford wanted to do something different for the final night of their summer show, as a way to attract new guests and to make the event feel even more luxurious. They decided to hire Hog Roast Stone to provide a buffet menu after the show had finished, creating an afterparty for guests and staff to enjoy. After looking through our menus, our catering manager Jason suggested a classic hog-roast for the occasion, as it is ideal for large groups and is a delicious evening meal.
On the day of the event, Jason and the Hog Roast Stone team arrived at the venue before the performance and got to work on preparing our dishes. We began with the pork, which needed to be slow-roasted to perfection and expertly carved. For meat-free guests, we also served BBQ pulled jackfruit, which is a delicious veggie dish. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. The guests were also able to enjoy homemade chips and a selection of seasonal salad dishes to create a varied and nutritious meal. Our catering set an elegant tone at the afterparty and attracted plenty of guests to the theatre. It was a great event to be a part of and we loved seeing so many guests, staff, and cast members enjoying our delicious menu.
