The traditional summer wedding season may be over, but that doesn’t mean the wedding dining services have stopped here at Hog Roast London. In fact, with just how busy the summer season was each and every week, we have a good amount of bleed over spilling into early September with the many weddings that we couldn’t get to earlier in the season, or for customers that couldn’t get their dream venues in the busy summer season. That means we start September just as we’ve been going on – with even more wedding dining goodness!
One to tell you about from this week comes from London. The Hog Roast London team, fresh from the bank holiday weekend, saddled up for the first weekend in September and headed across the city to cater a classic Hog Roast London wedding menu. What’s a classic menu at Hog Roast London, you ask? Well the clue is in our name. In terms of classics, they don’t get much more so than our signature hog roast dining experience, which combines an age old culinary tradition with the modern efficiency of Hog Roast London. Our own-designed mobile roasting machines allow us to recreate the traditional fire pit spit roast in a much easier, hassle-free process with little set up and even less clean up.
For this wedding, guests were treated to our hog roast, finely carved for serving with our sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, and fresh apple sauce. This blend of textures is unbeatable and what really makes this one a “classic”. For a veggie or vegan alternative, guests could instead grab our BBQ marinated pulled jackfruit, which looks and tastes akin to the real thing, or our grilled veg and halloumi skewers. All guests could then pile their plates high with our roasted new potatoes as well as refreshing red cabbage coleslaw and mixed salad.
If ever there was proof needed that this was indeed a classic, just ask the 125 guests that came in for seconds and even thirds in some cases. Classic dining once again for a classic wedding with Hog Roast London!
