Another wonderful wedding service to bring you all at Hog Roast Sevenoaks. With the wintery weather it could be easy to think that the wedding season would take a larger downturn, but the Hog Roast Sevenoaks team has still been out most weekends catering for some extraordinary weddings.
Last weekend was yet one more. This time taking us out to the brilliant Chipstead Sailing Club. In terms of venues to celebrate your wedding, this one is an excellent and unique choice. Our team had a great time taking in the lakeside views. It’s only a shame that it being winter and darker, we didn’t have all too many sailing yachts out on the lake, so we’ll hope to return some time in the summer, perhaps.
But love still sailed inside the venue as the wonderful bride and groom celebrated their matrimony along with 45 of their dearest friends and family members. Helping to steer the ship for the night was our excellent chef Chris and the rest of the Hog Roast Sevenoaks team. We of course had our trusty, ever-reliable first mate, the hog roast to really see the night through in style.
Cooked in the authentic spit style, there was a tonne of excitement surrounding our hog roast well before we got to serving. The wait was most certainly worth it, however. Cooked along with our golden crispy crackling, sage and onion stuffing, and served up with fresh apple sauce, guests could help themselves to as much as they wanted, along with added marinated chicken thighs for even more juicy flavour, BBQ pulled jackfruit for a vegan/veggie option, a medley of sweet and regular potato fries with salt and vinegar, and gluten free rolls to either mop everything up with or pile it all into for one delicious mega roll.
The follow up was just as good as the main, because the Hog Roast Sevenoaks team served up a dessert choice of lemon or toffee tart. Delish!
