Counter to belief, not every event in catering has to be absolutely massive. As a caterer, the Hog Roast Erith team are just as happy to cater for a couple hundred as we are to cater for just a couple of guests alone. Sometimes the smaller events can be even more exciting for our team; you get more of an intimate and personal service between caterer and guests, allowing both to enjoy a bit more freedom with each other – and, crucially, even more foods for the guest, too!
So when catering manager Jason was contacted by Cherie for her small family gathering in the garden, we were all too happy to provide our special brand of hog roast dining. When you have 15 guests instead of 100, all we see there is even more hog roast to go around for every lucky attendee!
As your caterer the Hog Roast Erith team can keep things small and compact. The brilliance of our mobile hog roasting machines as that they can come in smaller, more compact sizes to allow us to set up just about anywhere. For Cherie, the Hog Roast Erith team were able to seamlessly set up our dining out in her garden, where luckily the sun seemed as though it was trapped, making for a delightful afternoon to be spent cooking and serving for Cherie’s wonderful family. Set up in the corner of the garden under our marquee serving tent, we had our whole roasted pig, sage and onion stuffing, golden crackling, all to be served with our gourmet coleslaw and mixed salads. Or, we had our veggie and vegan alternatives too.
Guests were free to come and pick up their hog roast or jackfruit roll from us at any time, with more than enough food to make for seconds and even thirds for each guest if they wanted. We believe that our dining helped to make this intimate affair all the more special for Cherie and her family, proving that you don’t need 100 guests to justify opting for professional catering from the likes of Hog Roast Erith. Simply put, if you’ve got the good company then we’ve got the good foods, regardless of guest list number!
