Summer is the perfect time for people to adopt a new dog, as the weather is ideal for spending lots of time bonding and training outdoors. To inspire a boost of new adoptions, it can be a great idea to host an open day that shows off the pets in your care. A great way to attract more guests is to provide catering for the occasion, and Hog Roast South Darenth has plenty of menus that are perfect for the job!
Alice is the manager of a dog rehoming centre in Dartford and is currently in the process of planning an adoption event to showcase some of their canine residents. The event is set to include a ‘dog-walk’ to show off the pets, followed by sessions where families can interact with the dogs and potentially lead to an adoption match. Alongside the dog events, there will also be a variety of fundraisers, including a raffle, music, and a delicious meal. For the menu, our catering manager Jason has been hired to provide a delicious BBQ for the occasion, as this menu is ideal for serving large crowds of guests at a public event such as this one.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast South Darenth team will be arriving at the venue with plenty of time to prepare for the 12:00pm start time. We will begin by preparing the main dishes, which will include succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, juicy British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, BBQ spare ribs, and marinated chicken kebabs. The mains will be served in fresh bread rolls, alongside homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, a selection of seasonal salad dishes, and corn on the cob. We are expecting this menu to go down a treat as it includes so many different dishes for the guests to enjoy, allowing everyone to create a delicious meal from what we have to offer.
